With our lives being so busy lately, we hadn't had time to decorate. We finally just decided to decorate our trees during the week instead of waiting for the weekend. Mom put our trees up in our rooms and left the decorating up to us.
When we were done, our trees looked great! Mom couldn't believe her eyes!
That night we all snuggled into bed and read The Elf on the Shelf Book. We couldn't wait for our elf, Christmas, to appear the next morning.
When we woke up, we hurried and got dressed. We rushed through the house looking for Christmas. We found him in our kitchen with a note that said I missed y'all. He also left us the DVD of The Elf on the Shelf. We couldn't wait to watch it.
After school, mom quickly put all the lights on our family tree. It was finally ready for us to decorate it. It was Evan's year to put the star on!
We worked very hard to make our tree beautiful.
Our tree was finally decorated!
Alley thought we did a great job! Our house finally looked like Christmas. We were looking forward to our Christmas Season.
