Evan decided to have his birthday party this year in Wildwood. He invited 11 of his closest friends. I was only able to invite one, but I was happy with that.
The bags were packed, and the boys were ready to go!
Oma, Kaylee, and I had gone up early to get the house decorated for Evan's party. We had everything ready when the boys arrived. The first thing the boys did was explore the backyard. They enjoyed jumping on the trampoline, playing on the green, and zip lining from tree to tree.
We then all headed down to the beach on the golf carts to play a little beach football.
Kaylee and I decided to just make a sandcastle. We really weren't interested in playing football with the boys.
The boys had fun playing football on the beach. Oma couldn't believe how rough they play with each other!
After the football game, we headed back to the house for a special surprise that Evan and I didn't even know about. Mom had surprised us with a food fight! It was awesome! The food fight started out small with just marsh mellows. The boys loved marsh mellow dodge ball, but they had no idea what other food was to come. Mom pulled out cupcakes for the next food fight game. She had made everyone a dozen cupcakes to throw.
Then mom pulled out cooked pasta for everyone! It really flew threw the air!
The Jello was very cold and tasted very good!
Last but not least, mom had Cool Whip for each of us! It was my favorite one. Some of the boys just liked to lick there bowls.
I don't think Ryan Bell wanted to get too dirty!
I had a blast,
and I think all Evan's friends did too!
We had to lay plastic throughout Oma and Opa's house for the boys to sit on while they waited for the shower.
Next on our schedule was a scavenger hunt at the beach. Everyone had a glow necklace and a flashlight.
We all loaded up in the back of Opa's truck, and off we went to the beach.
Mom and Oma had hid clues all over the beach area. The last clue was to find an "X" in the sand and dig there. Everyone had a hidden treasure.
We headed back to the house and had dinner. It was Evan's favorite, Lasagna.
For dessert, we roasted marshmallows and made some smores by the the campfire.
We also had Evan's cookie cake for dessert.
Mom let him light his own candles for the first time.
We all sang "Happy Birthday" and Evan made a wish and blew out his candles.
Evan opened all his wonderful presents from his friends.

Mom made everyone get out their sleeping bags, but the party wasn't over. Boys will be boys, and they started to have a tickle fight!!
Then the boys decided to play charades. It was pretty funny to watch them!
Finally, mom got all the boys to settle down and watch "Remember the Titans". The last boys to go to sleep were Paxton and Matthew. They went to sleep about 3:00.
The next morning, we ate donuts, and then had to clean up and go home. Evan said it was the best party of his life!!!! I am not sure how mom is ever going to top this one.
