Christmas morning had finally arrived! Mom woke us up about 6:30. We jumped out of bed and ran to the living room to see if Santa Claus took our stockings to Oma and Opa's house.
The only stocking left was Alley's. She must had been a very good girl. Her stocking was filled with a huge dog bone and tons of toys.
I think she liked the bone the best!
Mom and Dad usually take all of our presents to Oma and Opa's house, but this year they left one for us to open.
We tore the paper off as fast as we could!
We were so surprised to see flat screen televisions for our bedrooms. Mom had told us that we couldn't have one in our rooms. She really did trick us! We were so excited.
It was finally time to go to Oma and Opa's and see what Santa brought us. We had to wait for all of our cousins to arrive before we could go into the living room.
We all go to Oma and Opa's in our matching Christmas pajamas.
The adults put up a blanket that covers the doorway to the living area, so we can't see what Santa brought. We have to line up in a line from youngest to oldest, and then we finally get to go into the living room!
We were so excited about our gifts from Santa. We must have been better than we thought! Our stockings were overflowing!!!
Santa had put some Christmas panties in my stocking, but I wouldn't take a picture with them for mom.
After stockings, it was time for breakfast. I think the adults do this to torture us. We have to wait for everyone to eat before we can open gifts. I think the only child that ate was Rider.

We couldn't wait anymore! What is Christmas morning without a wrestling match??
I think the wrestling made the adults finish their breakfast a little faster.
Oma said it was finally time to open the gifts. We all gathered on the rug.
We opened presents for hours!!!
Evan and I had both had given Dad a very special gift. I got him a #1 Dad trophy and Evan gave him a #1 Dad ring.
We also gave Mom special gifts. I gave her a dolphin figurine, and Evan gave her a heart necklace and earrings that matched. She loved them!!!
We all gave Oma and Opa their special picture we took all together. We ended up giving her one with Rider screaming crying. It was the best way to show how our picture day really was. They thought it was priceless.
Hunter loved his Angry Bird blanket.
Jack couldn't wait to dress up like Captain America.
Opa joined in on the fun.
Who would have known that the best presents were the big boxes our bean bag chairs came in.
We had a blast playing in the boxes!
We were exhausted from opening all those presents!
However, it didn't stop Hunter from playing his video games.
We had a great Christmas morning. We got everything we wanted and more. We gave mom a big hug for all the shopping she had done.
We also told Oma and Opa thanks for everything!
We all packed our cars with all of our gifts and headed home. We then got ready to eat lunch at Great Grandmother's house. She cooks an awesome gumbo! We also surprised Paw Paw with his favorite...my mom's banana pudding. I helped Mo Mo feed it to him. He had a big smile on his face. I bet it was his favorite Christmas gift this year.
That evening we headed back to Oma and Opa's for dinner. We had to do our annual Christmas pyramid with all the grandchildren.
Rider still didn't want to take a picture!!!
We were all exhausted by dinnertime. We didn't stay too late. Poor Opa kept trying to sleep in the chair, and everytime he would just get to sleep someone would climb in his lap. I don't think he minded though!
It was such a wonderful Christmas! We enjoyed our gifts, but most all we enjoyed all the time we spent with our families. We are so blessed to have such wonderful Grandparents, Great Grandparents, and all of our family! We love them all dearly!!!
