It was finally time to carve our pumpkin for Halloween. Unfortunately, Dad had to work late, so he didn't get to carve pumpkins with us this year. We usually carve our pumpkins with our cousins, but we couldn't find a night that everyone was available. We made the best of it this year, and we carved pumpkins at our house.
First thing was getting all the slimly stringy goo out of the pumpkins!
Ava wasn't too sure about touching it with her hand!
We soon both dug in and started cleaning the pumpkins out. Alley wanted to eat the pumpkins and all of its stuffing! Last year, she ate our pumpkins whole! We had to keep her away from them this year.
After we got them nice and clean, mom drew our pictures for us.
Ava was soooo excited to start carving!
Alley was being a good girl this year!
We finally finished carving our pumpkins, and they turned out great! I think they were the best we had ever done!
